The Company
The organisation is a very well regarded international manufacturer of niche products within the areas of: Radiology, Cardiology, Oncology (mainly within the Cath lab and operating theatre areas within the hospital). They have a very experienced and tenured team within ANZ and are on an exciting growth trajectory now and over the next 5 years and beyond.
The company culture is very positive and although they are a medium sized business across ANZ, there are still lots of opportunities for career development and progression within the business. The leadership team are highly experienced/ well tenured and the manager in question is great and very hands-on with the team.
The Role
The role in question is working with key specialists in niche areas and selling a diverse range of products (consumables, capital equipment)- NO On-CALL within the role. Key responsibilities include the following:
- Identifying new sales opportunities and growing existing sales business across the territory (Sydney Central, Sydney South)
- Attending cases within the Cath Lab/ OR space
- Mapping out target clients and strategically managing your territory
- Supporting clinicians/ surgeons during cases and also outside of procedures (Radiologists, Cardiologists etc.)
- Building positive working relations with key specialists across the state
- Working hand in hand with the sales team across NSW/ ANZ + senior leadership team
- Being a product expert and training customers on the use of the company products/ devices
- Attending trade shows and conferences throughout the year
- Some international travel for conference/ training
About you
- A minumim of 3 years of local sales experience (Medical Devices)
- Experience working within one of the following areas will be a plus: Radiology, Cardiology, Oncology, Vascular, Interventional
- Ability to travel across Sydney/ NSW within the role and work within different hospitals
- Open to strong clinical specialists within Med Devices looking to progress into a sales role
- A Cath lab background or understadning would be nice but not specifically needed
