Job Description

An exciting sales opportunity for a Territory Manager to work with a global company who are focused on revolutionising Bleeding Managment in medical procedures.
  
The Role
The main focus of the Territory Sales Manager is to drive penetration and profitable sales of the specific product into key accounts. Covering an appointed territory and collaborating with key stakeholders, you will drive sales, conduct clinical product training of surgeons, specialists, nurses and other key influencers and establish relationships and networks with all levels of customers by offering service and product knowledge. You will be the subject matter expert on the product, therapy, and the market.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales / gross profit commitments for assigned territory.
  • Able to accurately present and discuss the features and benefits of the specific product to all levels of customers to induce product usage in key specialties.
  • Clinical product training of surgeons, specialists, nurses, and other key influencers to ensure safe and proper use and application of key product.
  • Creating Sales/Marketing events with KOL’s and work with key customers for immediate and long-term sales opportunities.
  • To establish relationships and network with all levels of customers in assigned accounts by offering service and product knowledge.
  • Working closely with the National Sales Manager, Marketing and Clinical Team on the development and progress of account management plans, tactical and clinical activities with regular reviews to monitor outcomes.
  • To collaborate with the Regulatory and Customer Service Team to ensure that account ordering needs and material’s management are adequately monitored and meets the customer’s needs while adhering to policies and procedures  
Required Skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in related discipline (eg. Nursing, business, and marketing).
  • Demonstrated success in sales within a hospital environment, including dealing with key personnel.
  • Ability to be autonomous while working effectively in a team setting.
  • Proven experience in account management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of selling skills reflecting a demonstrated success in sales within a surgical environment.
  • At least 3+ years' work experience with a company, ideally with a large pharmaceutical/medical device organization or experience with start-up, in the medical device / pharmaceutical space.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in an operating theatre environment dealing with surgeons and other key personnel.
  • Thorough understanding of a large variety of surgical procedures. Especially in the fields of ENT & GI and other various surgical specialties.
  • Strong interpersonal skills geared toward effective negotiation, presentation, and communications.
  • Analytical skills related to budget, account management and clinical support.
  • Technical understanding of products and ability to discuss therapies
