The RoleAs Business Development Manager , you will be responsible for driving revenue through capital equipment sales and rentals across a defined territory. Your key focus will be on identifying and converting new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and delivering a high standard of service and support.
Key responsibilities include:- Developing and executing a strategic territory plan
- Building and maintaining key relationships with hospitals and select aged care facilities
- Driving sales and rental performance in line with set targets and forecasts
- Promoting pressure injury reduction solutions and other clinical benefits of the product range
- Conducting client needs analyses, product demonstrations, and in-servicing
- Overseeing product delivery, installation, and after-sales support
- Identifying market trends, competitor activity, and new product opportunities
- Managing tenders and supporting accurate, timely submissions
- Strong Medical Device sales experience ideally from one of the following areas: ICU/ Critical Care, ED, Wound Care
- Ideally you have experience in Capital Equipment sales within the medical device industry
- Based in Sydney South or Sydney Central
- A proven ability to drive business growth through consultative selling
- Strong negotiation, communication, and influencing skills
- Experience managing end-to-end sales cycles, including tender processes
- Solid understanding of hospital and aged care environments
- Technical aptitude and comfort assembling or demonstrating products
- Excellent time management, autonomy, and organisational skills
