Job Description
An exciting opportunity is available for a Clinical Support Specialist
to join a global leader in medical technology, supporting hospitals and surgeons across New South Wales.
This role is ideal for someone familiar with the requirements of the Clinical support role who has had exposure to the surgical environment but is also open to those looking to break into the medical devices industry . You will work closely with an experienced sales team who will provide structured onboarding, training and ongoing mentorship to help you develop your clinical and commercial skills.
The Role
• Provide operating theatre support during surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and theatre staff with the use of specialised medical devices and instrumentation
• Support Territory Managers with hospital case coverage and customer engagement
• Deliver product education and training to clinical staff
• Manage surgical instrumentation and hospital consignment stock
• Build strong relationships with surgeons, nurses and hospital stakeholders
• Stay up to date with clinical developments and product knowledge
About You
• Interest in building a career in the medical devices or healthcare industry
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital and theatre environment
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Degree in health science, biomedical science, nursing, physiotherapy, sports science or similar preferred
• Operating theatre or hospital experience advantageous but not essential
