What’s in it for you?

  • Join a leading Australian healthcare equipment provider and kick-start your career in medical device sales, with comprehensive training and support to help you succeed.
  • Fully maintained company van, plus fuel card and e-tag, so you’re never out of pocket for fuel or tolls.
  • Uncapped commission on top of your base salary - the more you put in, the more you can earn!
  • Hefty employee discounts across company products, JB Hi-Fi and selected gyms.
  • Discounted BUPA private health insurance.

The Company

A major Australian healthcare equipment supplier is looking for a personable and motivated Territory Manager to promote products in their community portfolio, covering Sydney CBD and the Eastern Suburbs.

The business supports people across community care, aged care and hospital settings, providing equipment that helps improve mobility, independence, comfort and quality of life.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is hungry to learn, enjoys building relationships and is keen to get stuck into sales. You’ll have the chance to develop your sales skills, learn how to grow your own territory and build a rewarding career in medical device sales.

The Role

Territory : Sydney CBD & Eastern Suburbs

This is a hands-on, field-based sales role where you’ll take ownership of an existing territory, manage your own schedule and identify opportunities to grow the business across the community healthcare sector.

You’ll spend your time visiting occupational therapists, home care providers, retirement villages and other community healthcare contacts, introducing them to the company’s product range and helping them find the right equipment to support people in their homes and local communities.

The portfolio includes a range of assistive healthcare equipment, including beds, recliners, mobility scooters, walkers and patient lifters. You’ll conduct product demonstrations, coordinate equipment trials and provide ongoing customer support.

You’ll be supported by an office-based team who assist with administration and equipment logistics, allowing you to focus on developing your territory and delivering results.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying new business opportunities and proactively developing the territory.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with occupational therapists, home care providers, retirement villages and other community healthcare contacts.
  • Conducting customer visits, equipment trials and product demonstrations in patients’ homes and community settings.
  • Working towards sales targets and growing revenue across your territory.
  • Providing excellent customer service to encourage repeat business and long-term relationships.
  • Coordinating equipment trials, customer follow-ups, deliveries, collections and returns.
  • Managing multiple customer requests while maintaining accurate records and stock control.

About You

This opportunity is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys a varied, hands-on role and is looking to build a career in sales. You don’t need previous medical device or healthcare experience - what matters most is your attitude, initiative and willingness to get out in the field and give it a go.

You’ll receive training and support to learn the products and industry, so this could suit someone starting out in their career or looking to take their existing customer-facing experience in a new direction.

A relevant degree in Exercise Science, Medical Science or Exercise Physiology would be highly regarded, but isn’t essential.

To be successful in this role, you’ll:

  • Have a positive, proactive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn.
  • Be confident communicating with a range of people and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
  • Be organised and able to manage competing priorities throughout the day.
  • Be practical and hands-on, with the ability to load, unload, transport and demonstrate equipment.
  • Be comfortable using computer systems to manage customer interactions and administrative tasks.
  • Hold a current Australian driver’s licence and be happy to travel regularly throughout the territory.

Previous sales or customer-facing experience will be highly regarded, but we’re open to candidates from a range of backgrounds who have the right attitude and potential.
