The Company
Our client is a well-established organisation that specialises in Medical Device Testing with Operations in Sydney (Annandale) and Malaysia. Operating for approximately 30 years they have dominated a number of niches globally and, with a recent change in management, are on a growth trajectory.
With a focus on precision, reliability and continuous innovation, they are undertaking a transformation journey and are looking for a Lead Manufacturing and Supply Engineer to join their team.

The Role
This opportunity is available for an immediate start and could be for a 3-4 month contract period or on an ongoing permanent basis depending on the successful candidate’s situation.
Your day-to-day will involve:
  • Leading a team of Engineers and Operations staff
  • Managing resource allocation, the assembly process, Quality Management and ensuring delivery of assembled equipment
  • Communication and collaboration with the CEO, the incoming Engineering and Operations Director and the Chief Customer Officer
About You
  • You have a background in Mechanical Engineering or Equipment Manufacturing with experience in test environments and a good understating of the different elements of the manufacturing process (eg. Mechanical, Electrical and Software components)
  • You have experience in manufacturing of Medical Devices (experience with items such as condoms, syringes and/or gloves is preferred but not essential)
  • Understanding of ISO 17025, ISO 9001, WHS and MedTech Regulatory Standards
  • You have Project Management experience and exceptional skills in communicating timelines, organising teams and delegating tasks.
  • You are tactical and hands-on and have experience working in SMEs undergoing rapid growth
  • You have a continuous improvement mindset with strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
