The Company

Our client is the world's leading manufacturer and distributor of Healthcare apparel and due to their market-leading position, they are able to invest in developing ground breaking new technologies to enhance comfort, protection and function across their product portfolios.
 

The Role

The newly created role of Market Development Manager will be the first direct role based in Australia. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director for APAC and responsible for leading and delivering sales; you will work closely with the global team to enhance our clients brand presence in the ANZ market.

This is a high performing team and will suit a dynamic and forward looking professional. Establishing brands requires a clear strategy, selective partnering and an ability to engage throughout their business to drive sales.

 

Responsibilities
  • Creating annual and long-term sales plan aligned to the global strategic plans and key initiatives
  • Building a sales pipeline with the support of the Marketing team
  • Attending and exhibiting at Tradeshows, building the pre-event activity and post event follow up
  • Leveraging a Brand toolkit, developing our Brand experience and look & feel through Retail and Online
  • Optimise our customers promotional and lead generation effectiveness
  • Help develop tailored Marketing support for local key strategic partners
  • Market and competitor insight, bringing that insight into actionable plans with the wider team
  • Strong relationships and influencing with the wider Sales team including the global teams

 

Requirements
  • Strong working knowledge of Healthcare sales cycles across a broad range of channels including Hospital, Private Clinics, Medical, Dental and Veterinary
  • Experience working with Distributors, Retailers and Suppliers; Online and Offline
  • Hunter-mentality Sales experience and a passion for business development is a must in this role
  • Broad commercial Marketing skills, Digital, Retail; B2C and B2B would be ideal
  • Being self-motivated, highly organised and a strong communicator will be key
  • Working across the Sales and Marketing mix, strong adaptable commercial individual
  • Ability to work well with others, fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment
  • Willingness to travel across APAC and elsewhere as required for the role
  • Be able to work autonomously as this role will be fully remote
