National Business Development Manager – Orthopaedic Trauma Newly Created | Game-Changing Implant | Hybrid State + National Role
Location: NSW, VIC or QLD

An opportunity like this doesn’t come around often.

We are partnering with an innovative orthopaedic company to appoint a National Business Development Manager for a unique, clinically compelling trauma implant that is genuinely changing the way surgeons approach this procedure.

This is a newly created role designed for a high-performing orthopaedic trauma professional ready to step beyond pure territory management and into national influence and leadership .

The Opportunity

This is a hybrid role combining:

  • Direct sales responsibility within your home state, and

  • National accountability for driving growth through a network of sales agents across Australia.

You will act as the commercial and clinical champion for this technology—setting strategy, building momentum, and elevating performance nationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth and adoption of the trauma implant within your state

  • Lead national business development strategy and execution

  • Influence, coach and support sales agents nationwide (without direct line management)

  • Build strong surgeon advocacy and KOL relationships

  • Identify new opportunities, optimise channel performance and expand market share

About You

This role will suit either:

  • A top-performing, experienced orthopaedic trauma rep with clear leadership capability looking to step up, or

  • Someone with proven leadership or management experience , particularly in roles requiring influence without authority.

You will bring:

  • Strong orthopaedic trauma experience and commercial credibility

  • A track record of consistent sales success

  • The ability to influence, motivate and align stakeholders nationally

  • Strategic thinking with a hands-on execution mindset

  • Confidence presenting to surgeons, agents and senior leadership
