We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial National Business Development Manager to spearhead the launch and growth of the SkyWalker Robotic Platform in Australia. This is a rare opportunity to bring cutting-edge surgical robotics to market, working with surgeons, hospitals, and health networks to establish adoption pathways and deliver commercial success.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the SkyWalker brand locally – building early adopter relationships, leading commercial execution, and positioning Paragon Group as the partner of choice in surgical robotics.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development & Strategy-
Develop and execute the national commercialisation strategy for SkyWalker Robotics.

Map and prioritise target hospitals, surgeon groups, and networks across Australia.

Build the value proposition and go-to-market plan in collaboration with global MicroPort stakeholders.

Drive surgeon and hospital engagement to secure early adoption and reference sites.

Lead product evaluations, demonstrations, and trials with key opinion leaders (KOLs).

Negotiate commercial agreements, capital tenders, and service partnerships.

Develop deep relationships with orthopaedic surgeons, hospital executives, procurement teams, and theatre staff.

Represent Paragon Group and SkyWalker Robotics at conferences, workshops, and industry events.

Collaborate with clinical specialists and service teams to ensure seamless implementation and support.

Deliver against annual sales and adoption targets.

Analyse market dynamics, competitor activity, and reimbursement landscape to inform strategy.

Report regularly on pipeline development, customer feedback, and market trends.
About You
Experience & Background-
Proven track record in business development, sales leadership, or capital equipment commercialisation within medical devices (orthopaedics, robotics, or surgical navigation highly desirable).

Strong network within the orthopaedic surgery community in Australia.

Experience leading market entry or new product launches .

Demonstrated success managing long-cycle capital sales processes, tenders, and multi-stakeholder negotiations.
