Regional Manager (ACT)

This organisation is a leading Australian primary healthcare organisation operating a national network of  GP clinics ,  dental practices, allied health services , and  Urgent Care Centres . The group is committed to improving access to high-quality care while supporting doctors and healthcare professionals with strong operational and leadership frameworks.

With continued growth across its network, the organisation is seeking experienced commercial/ operational leaders to drive  financial performance, service excellence, and people engagement  at a regional level (ACT).

As  Regional Manager (ACT) , you will be accountable for the  end-to-end operational and financial performance  of a cluster of medical centres. This role owns the  P&L, people leadership, operational delivery, and execution of strategy , while enabling doctors to focus on clinical care by removing operational and compliance burden.

You’ll work closely with Practice Managers, clinical leaders, and senior operations to deliver sustainable performance across the region.

This is a  hybrid working role  based in the field and also working from the office/ home

• Full ownership of regional  P&L, budgets, costs, and EBITDA performance

• Leading and coaching Practice Managers and Business Managers across multiple sites

• Driving employee and healthcare professional engagement, retention, and performance

• Identifying and delivering revenue growth and cost efficiency opportunities

• Overseeing facilities, procurement, and resource allocation across centres

• Ensuring high standards of patient experience, service quality, and operational compliance

• Partnering with clinical leadership to support governance and best practice

• Commercial background in  Healthcare  or  Medical Devices/ Pharmaceutical

• Proven experience in  multi-site operational leadership  with P&L accountability

• Background in healthcare, allied health, community services, or complex service-based environments

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance financial outcomes and patient care

• Comfortable engaging with  doctors and clinical stakeholders  as independent professionals

• Data-driven, pragmatic, and confident making decisions in complex environments

• Well suited to  Regional / Area / Operations Managers  or senior  Practice Managers  ready to step up
