The Role
Working within the Customer Operations team based out of the Sydney CBD, you’ll be responsible for ensuring Customers are able to understand the scope of the coverage for Private Health Insurance reimbursement of their diabetes products.

The Role
Working within the Customer Operations team based out of the Sydney CBD, you’ll be responsible for ensuring Customers are able to understand the scope of the coverage for Private Health Insurance reimbursement of their diabetes products.
On a day-to-day basis you will:
- Manage all aspects of customer’s orders, verifying insurance benefits and adhering to medical guidelines for reimbursement
- Service as the department expert on escalation calls / tasks, insurance contracts and processing requirements for all covered products
- Requesting and collecting updated documentation, order entry and coordinating shipment of product to customers
- Support customers by answering inquiries, resolving issues empathetically and providing product information
- Submission of all prior authorisation requests for approval and payment of products at time of claim processing
- Calculate and document cost share amounts for potential customers
- Collaborate with other internal teams such as Case Management, Sales and Billing to ensure a seamless ordering experience
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 4+ years’ related experience in a professional working environment, preferably with extensive phone support (medical device or health care experience preferred)
- Highly organised and detail-oriented individual with a passion for healthcare and customer service
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM or similar systems
- Strong oral and written communication
