As Senior Manager – Enabling Technologies & Sales Operations, you will play a pivotal role in connecting commercial strategy with operational execution, helping drive sustainable growth across Australia and New Zealand while supporting the successful adoption of advanced surgical technologies.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced medical device leader who thrives at the intersection of sales, operations, capital equipment, and strategy.

You will be responsible for optimising asset utilisation, leading capital sales initiatives, improving forecasting accuracy, supporting technology adoption, and ensuring alignment between Sales, Marketing, and Operations.

The role offers significant visibility across the organisation and will directly influence business performance, customer outcomes, and future growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial & Capital Equipment Leadership

  • Lead ANZ capital sales strategy, including pipeline development, forecasting, pricing, and conversion performance
  • Support market development activities and new customer acquisition initiatives
  • Develop compelling business cases to support technology adoption and capital investment
  • Partner with commercial teams to support the successful launch of new products and enabling technologies

Sales Operations & Demand Planning

  • Drive optimisation of surgical sets and capital equipment across ANZ
  • Improve asset utilisation, availability, and allocation efficiency
  • Align operational supply with commercial demand across multiple markets and customer segments
  • Integrate sales, marketing, and operational inputs to improve forecasting accuracy and business planning
  • Manage prioritisation strategies to address inventory constraints and maximise customer service levels

Systems, Process & Business Improvement

  • Own and optimise ERP and operational systems to improve visibility and decision-making
  • Drive adoption of systems and processes across sales and operational teams
  • Define and monitor key business metrics including utilisation, fulfilment, forecasting accuracy, and operational performance
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance both commercial and operational outcomes

Stakeholder Leadership

  • Act as the key link between Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain functions
  • Collaborate with surgeons, hospitals, distributors, and strategic partners
  • Influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment across the organisation
About You

You are a commercially minded leader who understands both the strategic and operational drivers of a high-growth medical technology business.

You will bring:

  • 7+ years' experience within medical devices, healthcare, capital equipment, sales operations, supply chain, or commercial leadership roles
  • Strong knowledge of the spine, orthopaedic, or surgical device market
  • Experience managing capital equipment sales strategies and complex commercial programs
  • Strong understanding of forecasting, demand planning, inventory management, and operational excellence
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proven ability to influence and drive outcomes across matrix organisations
  • A proactive, growth-oriented mindset and passion for innovation

Location

This role can be based in Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne, with regular travel across Australia and New Zealand.
