Marketing Manager – Spine

We’re seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Manager – Spine to lead product marketing initiatives, drive market growth, and shape the future of a high-impact portfolio within the medical device space.

This is a leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and cross-functional collaboration, bringing together market insights, product innovation, and commercial excellence to deliver measurable results.


About the Role

As Marketing Manager, you will define and execute product marketing strategies across the spine portfolio, translating complex market dynamics into clear, actionable plans. You’ll play a key role in driving market share, shaping product positioning, and leading successful product launches.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, regulatory, and education, you will ensure alignment across the business and deliver compelling value to customers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute structured product marketing plans to drive market share and revenue growth
  • Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify new growth opportunities
  • Define and oversee pricing strategy, product positioning, and competitive differentiation
  • Lead market-specific product launches, including pricing, forecasting, and revenue targets
  • Ensure cross-functional readiness across sales, product, regulatory, and education teams
  • Own product lifecycle management, including sustainability, planning, and new product introduction
  • Build and maintain multi-year product development roadmaps aligned to strategic priorities
  • Translate customer and market feedback into actionable insights for product development and commercial teams
  • Monitor performance against targets and provide data-driven recommendations to optimise outcomes
  • Oversee development and distribution of marketing collateral and demonstration assets
  • Support industry engagement, education initiatives, and internal alignment activities
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams to ensure operational excellence

About You

You are a strategic thinker with a strong commercial mindset and a proven ability to translate insights into impactful action. You’re comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-performance environment and bring both analytical rigour and creative problem-solving to your work.

You will bring:

  • Strong strategic capability in assessing market dynamics and shaping product direction
  • A data-driven approach combined with critical thinking and attention to detail
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and complex projects
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels
  • The ability to prioritise, adapt, and deliver in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive, disciplined approach with strong ownership and accountability
  • High levels of composure and resilience under pressure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including business reporting

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Typically 8+ years’ experience in a relevant field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Experience in medical devices and spine, or a related healthcare environment is highly regarded
