As the business continues to grow across Australia, they are seeking an experienced Territory Sales Manager to drive market expansion, strengthen surgeon relationships, and support the continued adoption of their specialist orthopaedic portfolio.
About the Role
Reporting into the Sales Director, you'll take ownership of your territory, driving commercial growth through strategic account management, business development, and outstanding clinical support.
Working closely with a Business Development Manager, you'll create a unified approach to customer engagement while providing hands-on operating theatre support and delivering exceptional service to surgeons and hospital stakeholders.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced orthopaedic sales professional who enjoys building long-term partnerships and representing products backed by outstanding clinical evidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed territory sales and growth objectives
- Develop new business opportunities while growing existing surgeon relationships
- Increase utilisation of a specialist orthopaedic implant portfolio
- Deliver high-quality in-theatre clinical support and product expertise
- Build trusted relationships with surgeons, theatre staff, procurement teams, and hospital executives
- Work collaboratively with Business Development, Clinical Education, Operations, and Customer Service teams
- Maintain accurate CRM activity, forecasting, and pipeline management
- Deliver educational presentations and product training to healthcare professionals
- Monitor market activity and provide commercial insights to support business strategy
About You
You'll be an ambitious and commercially driven medical device professional who enjoys working closely with surgeons and thrives in a theatre-based environment.
You'll ideally bring:
- Proven success in orthopaedic or medical device sales
- Experience managing and growing a sales territory
- Strong understanding of orthopaedic implant systems and surgical procedures
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills
- A proactive, organised, and accountable approach to territory management
- Experience using CRM systems to manage pipeline and forecasting
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Science, Healthcare, or a related discipline
Existing relationships within the Australian orthopaedic market will be highly regarded.
