About the Role
We’re looking for a high-performing Territory Business Manager to drive growth across the Auckland region. This is an opportunity for a commercially savvy sales professional with a strong “hunter” mindset and a passion for improving patient outcomes through innovative medical technologies.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of your territory—developing and executing strategic plans, building trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, and delivering consistent sales results. You’ll operate in a fast-paced, clinically focused environment where your ability to influence and add value will be key to success.
Key Responsibilities

Meet or exceed sales targets across your assigned territory

Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan, with regular reviews and updates

Build and maintain strong relationships with spine surgeons and clinical stakeholders

Deliver effective product presentations and support in-theatre where required

Continuously build product, clinical, and market knowledge
-
Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts
-
Provide regular market feedback, including competitor activity and product insights
-
Manage inventory, including consignment and loan sets across accounts
-
Collaborate closely with leadership to review performance and refine strategy
-
Represent the organisation at training sessions, conferences, and industry events
-
Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations, industry codes, and internal policies

Manage travel and expenses within budget
About You
-
5+ years’ experience in medical device sales or territory management
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
-
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
-
Strong understanding of spinal anatomy and/or operating theatre environments (preferred)
-
Demonstrated ability to prospect, win, and grow business
-
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
-
Highly organised with strong planning and execution capabilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Willingness to travel across the territory, including occasional after-hours work
