For this episode, we sat down with AJ Moreland, Managing Director for the pacific region from Dräger , who started his career on the frontline in emergency care before moving into medtech.

That perspective really came through. From critical care and ventilation through to patient monitoring and hospital infrastructure, Dräger sits right at the centre of it, particularly during the COVID years where demand, pressure, and responsibility were at their peak.

We spoke about leading through that environment, the importance of honest feedback (even when it’s uncomfortable), and the reality that you don’t need to have all the answers from day one to succeed. 

We touched on how in the bleakest of times, medtech companies rallied and supported eachother. A good reminder that, at its core, this industry works best when everything aligns around the patient.
