About the Company

Our client is a global Orthopaedic company specialising in the design and production of innovative Orthopaedic products and are a pioneer in the development of accompanying minimally invasive surgical techniques.
About the Role
The purpose of this position to build, manage, supervise and drive sales, marketing events, Surgeon and staff education of our clients Orthopaedic portfolio. You will also be responsible for new product launches, state-based forecasting, development & management of business relationships with all customers, Surgeons & Hospital/support staff to continually influence the sales & market growth.
Sales & Marketing Performance
  • Assist in setting and exceeding of annual sales budgets for the region
  • Ensure effective management of territories to ensure adequate coverage and division of resources of sales staff
  • Continual updating of the Customer database
  • Drive and assist Territory Managers to develop customer relationships in order to secure existing business and achieve competitive conversions.
  • Foster effective relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) & Surgeon Influencers
  • Proactively oversee and manage existing customer relationships ranging from product end users, nursing personnel, management, and administration personnel
  • Market intelligence, reporting on any clinical developments and competitive activity to local management and marketing
  • Set performance indicators for direct reports and measure against performance
  • Coaching and mentoring for Sales and Clinical staff under your report
  • This includes both technical knowledge, territory management and sales abilities
  • Create accurate sales forecasts and provide timely monthly reporting to the Director on the actual to forecast
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports for sales management on key regional sales performance including customer and product analysis
  • Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications (knowledge control, communications to Sales team)
  • Facilitate the Management of all Marketing activities for the company including but not limited to Congresses and other events
  • Co-ordinating the marketing campaign with sales activities
Leadership & Management

As a member of the Leadership team share collective responsibility for delivering organisational objectives through active engagement and collaboration with employees at all levels in the organisation
  • Be a role model for effective and positive leadership which is ethical, results driven and future-oriented
  • Promote a regional culture of cohesive and responsive service provision to clients through effective leadership to team members
  • Provide ongoing feedback, mentoring, advice and coaching to direct reports, supporting skill development, continuous improvement and increased competencies through an effective performance management framework
  • Oversee all HR responsibilities for direct reports including recruitment and selection, training and development, professional performance and clinical reviews
